About Toyo's Winter Program

With a main theme "Experience the SNOW life!", the Toyo Winter Program is designed to provide participants with interesting opportunities to comprehend how diverse Japan is, by comparing rural and city area, and modern and traditional Japanese culture.

The first half of the program is implemented in Tokyo. Some of the activities include: an orientation program at Toyo University; field trips to Yanesen (one of the traditional areas in Tokyo) and Tsukiji area; experience of traditional paper making process; and cultural exchange with Toyo students.

In the second half of the program, participants move to Uonuma and Ikebukuro. Through homestaying at local houses, participants can experience rural life and local culture in Japan.
