Family Intervention Certificate
The Certificate in Family Intervention documents students’ content knowledge of the identification, prevention, and intervention for families at risk. Students learn about the strengths families provide for individual resiliency in times of stress. Across the required courses, students learn about strategies to combat intimate partner violence, domestic violence, child and elder abuse, alcohol and drug addiction, sexual addiction, gambling, and technology addiction as well as strategies to support diverse family types, families coping with chronic illness and disability, and military families/ parental absence. |
