Each year, students and faculty in the College of Education contribute more than 200,000 hours of service to the community through internships, teaching, volunteering and tutoring.

We offer California-accredited programs to prepare you for the classroom, whether you want to teach elementary school, high school or special education. Our master’s degrees in education, school psychology and speech-language pathology take your career to the next level.

From birth to old age, we focus on how humans develop. We study family and community dynamics, learn through fieldwork, and prepare you to work in industries ranging from early childhood education, counseling, health care, human resources, research and non-profits.
