Majors & Minors
We offer 11 majors and 20 minors across six academic departments.
Communicating effectively. Engaging globally. We prepare students to create, collaborate, lead and serve in a diverse and interconnected world.
We develop diverse, creative, socially engaged filmmakers. Students develop their voices and craft as they explore forms from fiction to documentary and live action to animation.
We prepare ethical, critical and creative thinkers to succeed in an interconnected world. We offer a range of majors, minors and concentrations, including journalism, history, and ethnic and gender studies.
We offer a psychology major and minor. Rooted in social justice and civic engagement, our programs allow students to build practical skills through service-learning, projects and other hands-on opportunities.
We dive deep into the human experience across the world through enriching majors and minors like anthropology, sociology, geography and global studies.
We empower students to explore their interests and develop their talents. We offer degrees in music and visual art — plus plenty of co-curricular opportunities to learn, create, collaborate and share.
We prepare students to thrive in today’s global society. Being fluent in multiple languages is more advantageous than ever. Our Spanish and Japanese programs explore both communication and culture.
Our students practice, play, dance, sing and stride across our stages before they walk across that final stage at graduation. CAHSS is home to a 400-seat theater, an amphitheater and an art gallery.
