Use these maps as a reference for campus locations, parking areas and transportation routes at Cal State Monterey Bay.

Getting Here by Car

  • Take Highway 101 south toward Salinas
  • Merge onto Highway 156 west (Monterey Peninsula)
  • Continue as Highway 1 south
  • Take Exit 406 (Lightfighter Drive, CSUMB main entrance)
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore Boulevard at the third signal
  • Follow campus signs to your destination
  • Take Highway 101 north to Salinas
  • Exit at Sanborn Road (Monterey Peninsula)
  • Turn right, then follow Sanborn → Blanco Road
  • Turn right onto Reservation Road
  • Turn left onto Imjin Road
  • Turn left onto Abrams Drive
  • Turn right onto Inter-Garrison Road
  • Follow campus signs
  • Take Highway 1 north
  • Exit at Lightfighter Drive (Exit 406)
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore Boulevard
  • Follow campus signs
  • Take Highway 1 south
  • Exit at Lightfighter Drive (Exit 406)
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore Boulevard
  • Follow campus signs

Public Transportation

CSUMB is accessible by bus from across the region.

  • Take MST Line 18 to the CSUMB Alumni & Visitor Center
  • Take MST Line 25 to campus
    or
  • Take MST Line 20 → transfer to Line 16
  • Take MST Line 27 → transfer to Line 16
  • Take MST Line 55 → transfer to Line 16

By Air

  • Take Highway 68 west to Highway 1
  • Head north on Highway 1
  • Exit at Lightfighter Drive (Exit 406)
  • Turn left on General Jim Moore Boulevard
  • Follow campus signs
