Suicide Prevention

Emergency Call 911 for an emergency if you or someone you know is likely to hurt themselves or others, is actively suicidal or homicidal.

Suicide Crisis Line Call 988 for the state’s alternative mental health crisis line for free and confidential support from the state’s national Suicide Prevention Lifeline call center. University Police will not be notified if you utilize this line.

Personal Growth and Counseling Center
Call the Personal Growth and Counseling Center 831-582-3969 if you or someone you know needs help dealing with:
• suicidal thoughts;
• severe feelings of panic or overwhelm;
• news of the death or illness of a loved one;
•sexual or physical assault.

Regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The caller should tell the office manager that there is a need for crisis counseling. The PGCC is physically located within Building 80, 6012 General Jim Moore, Marina, CA 93933.
