The Asian Pacific Islander Association is a student-run organization at CSUMB that seeks to celebrate and educate others on Asian Pacific Islander cultures and traditions. The purpose of the Chinese Lion Dance Club is to spread the cultural dance throughout the school and community. Club members strive to bring the dance of the lion to life with music played by a gong, drum, and cymbals along with creative, cultural, and artistic dance.
