Sidewalk repairs taking place around campus

The Facilities Management Department has approved A&C Construction to repair small sections of the sidewalk in 4 areas of campus:

• Two collapsed sections of sidewalk on the outside of Building 13.  - one on A Street and one on 6th Avenue. 
• Cracked and failing sidewalk on the west side of Building 80
• Raised sidewalk on Divarty near 3rd Avenue, south side of Divarty
• A small section of collapsed sidewalk on 6th Avenue at the northeast corner of Lot 71. 

According to Tony Cabeca, project supervisor for Facilities, they hope to do the work at Buildings 13 and 80 on Sept. 9 and 10. And while vehicle traffic is not expected to be affected, pedestrians should be aware of the cordoned off areas.
