CSUMB students to give “Rocky Horror” the shadow treatment

CSUMB students are celebrating Halloween by giving the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" a bit of a twist

Dr. Frank-N-Furter is back – fishnet stockings, corset and all – for the Halloween season, along with the rest of the cast from “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” CSUMB students are celebrating and giving the film presentation a bit of a twist – as if it weren’t twisted enough already.

Preaching diversity and acceptance well before its time, this howlingly fun 1976 musical will screen – and then some – from 8 - 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27 in the Otter Student Union ballroom. To add to the oddity and enjoyment of the cult classic, the Performing Otters theater group will do a shadow cast, performing the musical numbers in front of the movie screen as the film is running. Admission is free but seating is limited. The film deals with mature themes.

So, come up to the lab, see what’s on the slab and don’t forget to bring a slice of toast.
