Business symposium looks at responsible social impact and artificial intelligence
The symposium aims to support a culture of research and academic excellence for the purpose of creating an impact on society, both locally and globally.
The International Responsible Business Social Impact Symposium is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 2, from 4-8 p.m. at the Business and Information Technology building, in Room 104 and the atrium.
A reception runs from 4-5 p.m. Established faculty members from the College of Business and others will have a poster session, exhibiting and discussing their work related to social impact. The reception is followed by a presentation and panel discussion from 5-6 p.m.
From 6-8 p.m., experts will discuss the current and future state of environmental social governance and artificial intelligence.
The objective of this inaugural research and impact symposium is to celebrate, collaborate and cultivate a culture of research and academic excellence for the purpose of creating an impact on society, both locally and globally.
The event is free for students, faculty and staff. Admission is $15 for the public. Click here for tickets.
