How to Use
Please note that this content does not have a visual output, as its purpose is to be displayed on the Forms and Policies Search page
- Add the Form/Policy Title
- Optionally add Description
- Select the Type from a dropdown list, whether it's a Form or Policy
- Select the Category from a multi-select dropdown list (CSUMB 2024 - Forms and Policies Categories)
- Add a link with one of the following, please use only one element:
- Form & Policy Document - Select a file from the Media Library
- Form & Policy Document Link (internal) - Select internal section (i.e., page) or content link (i.e., content on the page)
- Form & Policy Document Link (external) - Add the external page URL
Additional Details
- All the form content should be added to a single hidden section at “CSUMB Home » Forms and Policies » Forms”, and
- All the policy content should be added to a single hidden section at “CSUMB Home » Forms and Policies » Policies”.
Note: These separate sections are essential for maintaining clarity and facilitating the efficient management of forms and policy contents.
Form & Policy Documents (example: PDF)
- Public Documents -
- All the public forms are present at: Categorised > CSUMB > Forms and Policies >Forms within the media library.
- Protected Documents -
- If the forms or policy documents need to be behind access control, then they need to be added under the protected folders in the media library. This parent folder path in the media library is: Categorised > CSUMB > Dashboard > Protected.
- Documents accessible only to Faculty should go in a folder named: Faculty
- Documents accessible only to Staff should go in a folder named: Staff
- Documents accessible to both Faculty and Staff should go in a folder named: Faculty or Staff
- The media restriction is configured per group in the site structure here: Home » CSUMB Home » Site Assets » Media Restriction.
- More restrictions per group can be configured in this section using the Restrict Media Category (ID: 324) content type
- The relationship between each dashboard group is OR.
- If the forms or policy documents need to be behind access control, then they need to be added under the protected folders in the media library. This parent folder path in the media library is: Categorised > CSUMB > Dashboard > Protected.
