Emergency Updates and Communication

During an emergency, Cal State Monterey Bay will send an OTTERalert to notify the campus community of urgent situations. This page will also be updated with the most current information to help students, faculty, staff and visitors stay informed.

We encourage everyone to sign up for OTTERalert, the university’s emergency notification system. Alerts may be sent by text message, email, desktop notification and outdoor speakers during time-sensitive emergencies.

Parents, supporters and community members are also welcome to enroll in OTTERalert to receive campus emergency updates.
