New Student Convocation

New Student Convocation is held annually in the fall, celebrating the arrival of new students. The event provides a sense of community and authentic communication of CSUMB’s vision and mission.

Honors Convocation

Honors Convocation is held every spring, presented such awards as the President’s Award for Exemplary Student Achievement and Provost’s Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement and Alumni Vision Award, among others.

Commencement

Commencement is the annual official ceremony in which degrees are conferred on graduating students. The commencement ceremony is held during the third week of May every year.
