Bay Analytics Hub for Insight and Assessment (BAHIA) Center

BAHIA Center is located at CSU Monterey Bay and provides statistical consulting and evaluation services.

Our services include but are not limited to assessment and evaluation, quantitative research designs, data management and visualization, statistical analysis and data science, and statistical reporting and publication support.

Assessment & Evaluation

We support organizations in understanding whether programs are being implemented effectively and achieving their intended outcomes. Our services include grant evaluation, program assessment and evaluation, development of evaluation questions and frameworks, outcome and process evaluation, quantitative and qualitative evaluation approaches, data collection and analysis, and evaluation reports and summaries for stakeholders.

Quantitative Study Designs

Good analysis begins with good study design. We can assist before data collection begins or help strengthen an existing research plan. Our services include quantitative research design, survey and questionnaire design, experimental and quasi-experimental design, sampling strategies, measurement and data collection planning, sample size and power analysis, and statistical analysis planning.

Data management and visualization

We help transform raw data into organized, meaningful and useful information. Our services include data wrangling, cleaning and management, data integration and restructuring, data quality assessment, data visualization and graphical summaries, and automated reporting and interactive data dashboards.

Statistical analysis and data science

We provide statistical analyses tailored to your research questions, data and intended audience. Our services include descriptive statistical analysis, statistical estimation and inference, hypothesis testing, regression and advanced statistical modeling, machine learning for predictive modeling, and interpretation of results.

Statistical Reporting & Publication Support

We help communicate statistical methods and results clearly, accurately and appropriately for technical and nontechnical audiences. Our services include statistical reports, statistical sections of manuscripts for publication and support for statistical questions.
