Designed for high school and community college student groups, these tours provide an in-depth look at campus life. The New Student Programs Office at Cal State Monterey Bay invites prospective students, teachers, counselors and their families to experience a guided campus tour and presentation. What to Expect:

30-Minute Presentation: An informative session covering the application process, academic programs, student life, and campus resources.

60-Minute Walking Tour: Explore key campus locations with a current student guide.

When: Family and Individual tours are offered on select weekdays during the semester at 2:00 p.m. (excluding holidays). Family and Individual tours will be offered on select weekdays at 12:00 p.m. over the summer break (May 20 - August 15). 

Duration: Each tour lasts approximately 90 minutes and includes a walking tour of the campus.

What to Bring: We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and bringing water and snacks for your comfort.

Important Information:

Registration: Advanced registration is required to secure your spot, as tours are limited and tend to fill quickly. Be sure to register early to avoid missing out.

Parking: Visitors can purchase a day use pass for $5 at the parking meeter. We recommend parking in Lot 71 as it’s the closest lot to the Otter Student Union where tours begin and end.
