What is the Transfer Success Pathway?

The Transfer Success Pathway (TSP) is a guaranteed admission agreement between California Community College students and Cal State Monterey Bay. Through TSP, students begin their education at a California Community College and work toward transferring to CSUMB while receiving support from both institutions.

Students must meet transfer requirements within three years. Once those requirements are satisfied, students are guaranteed admission to Cal State Monterey Bay in their selected major. 

Note: TSP is not available for the Nursing major, or online programs.

Eligibility

In order to be eligible for the Transfer Success Pathway you must:

• Complete the agreement between August 31 and October 31
• Be currently enrolled or beginning enrollment at a California Community College
• Have not earned college credit after the summer immediately following high school graduation
  • Dual enrollment courses completed during high school do not disqualify you
• Students who graduated from high school in 2023, or later, are still eligible for TSP if they meet these requirements.
