Capstone Experience

Bring your learning to life through real-world projects that showcase your creativity, technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Virtual Reality Lab

The capstone is your opportunity to put everything you’ve learned into practice.

Working in teams or individually, you’ll take on a substantial project that mirrors the challenges you’ll face in the workplace. From exploring the problem space to developing requirements, designing solutions and building prototypes, the capstone allows you to demonstrate both your technical expertise and your ability to collaborate and manage projects.

Your project may take the form of a mobile app, a game, a digital exhibit, a visualization or a set of interactive tools. Along the way, you’ll refine your project management, communication and presentation skills while working with faculty mentors. Each semester concludes with the Capstone Festival, where you’ll showcase your work to peers, faculty and industry guests, a valuable step in launching your career or preparing for graduate study.
