Service Learning
In courses like Service Learning for Social Change in Education, you will learn more about advocating for access, equity, and justice in public schools by immersing yourself in a school or partner agency in the Monterey Bay region.
Senior Capstone
Examine a contemporary issue in education through an independent research project. You’ll work with a faculty mentor to develop a capstone experience that aligns with your professional interests. At the end of the year, you’ll get to present your work alongside your peers at our annual capstone festival.
Student Organizations
Get involved with the CSUMB chapter of the Student California Teachers Association. This group offers educational and social events, as well as networking opportunities.
