We offer in-depth study of Spanish and Japanese language, literature, and history, with an emphasis on cultural understanding and global awareness. Students develop advanced communication skills, critical thinking abilities and cultural literacy that prepare them for careers, graduate studies and meaningful community engagement.

Our programs emphasize both linguistic proficiency and applied learning. As a student, you will participate in study abroad, language immersion and cultural events that connect classroom study with real-world experience, while faculty mentorship supports growth in academic, personal and professional pathways.

Japanese Language and Culture, B.A. and Minor

Exceptional preparation for an increasingly interdependent global economy where literacy in international matters, multiculturalism and proficiency in the Japanese language and social dynamics can be your springboard to a successful career.

Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures, B.A. and Minor

Develop your ability to communicate with Spanish speakers and appreciate the richness of Hispanic cultures. Prepare for a wide range of careers, making meaningful connections with Spanish-speaking communities and contributing to the global community.
