The vibrant arts and culture scene at Cal State Monterey Bay is a testament to the accomplished faculty within the Department of Visual Arts and Music.
Our students learn from scholars and professionals who are actively creating, composing, performing and leading in their respective fields. They have expertise in areas like music theory, ethnomusicology, composition, film scores, percussion performance, digital audio, lighting design, art installation and many visual art mediums.
