CART Professor's ESTA Grant Featured on KCBX FM Public Radio

CART Professor Enid Ryce's grant on Environmental Science Through Art (ESTA), was recently featured on KCBX FM Central Coast Public Radio.  The program allows CSUMB graduate students and professors to collaborate on an environmental science curriculum, which is then taught to Latinx high school students in the Salinas Valley.  In lieu of a final exam, students submit an art piece on what they learned.  The above photo is the mural on display at McKinnon Elementary School depicting the effects pesticides have on the surrounding agriculture and community.  Please visit KCBX to read the full article or listen to the coverage.
