Business students at Cal State Monterey Bay have access to a variety of academic resources, support services and engagement opportunities across the university and right here within the College of Business.
Here are just a few ways we support our Otters:
Academic Advising
Whether you are majoring or minoring in business, we’ll make sure you’re on the right track. You’ll be assigned an academic advisor with specific expertise in our programs.
Internship Excellence Program
We’ll help you secure an internship that complements your skills and career interests. Coupled with our Diamond Key Professional Development Program and the university-wide career services, you’ll have everything you need to succeed.
Mentor Leadership Program
As part of our overall Career Access programming, business students also receive mentoring from both faculty and seasoned industry leaders.
College of Business Student Emergency Fund
Students may apply for grants up to $500 to help our students overcome unexpected financial challenges that may impact their academic progress at Cal State Monterey Bay.
Business Scholarships
Cal State Monterey Bay offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities for students of all majors. Awards aimed specifically at business students include the College of Business Family and Friends Scholarship and the Hilda Holl Memorial Scholarship, and the Pebble Beach Scholars Program.
Visit the financial aid website to find current scholarships that match your interests.
