The ACCELERATE program at the Institute for the Computing Talent Initiative (CTI) is designed for students who are studying computer science and who are early or midway through their college experience. 

Helping You Build Your Resume and Forge Industry Connections

Through the ACCELERATE program you’ll work towards landing a traditional technical internship, applying for and securing a Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) and completing an eight-week paid and mentored open-source project.

Adding Depth and Breadth to Your Experience

Online Modules – 10 Hours Weekly

Through our online modules you’ll develop problem-solving for interviews, gain Python proficiency, contribute to open-source projects and build a professional network.

Learning Community

You’ll interact with peers through weekly online large-group work sessions, weekly small-group check-ins and an active ACCELERATE Slack channel.

Micro-Internships

You’ll work with an industry mentor contributing to an open-source project and have access to Engineer tech talks, recruiter presentations and mock interviews.

Summer Work Experience

We’ll position you for a summer work experience that could be a tech internship, an REU or an eight-week paid open-source project through our partners at CodeDay Labs.
