Transfer Pathways: Build on What You’ve Started

If you joined Cal State Monterey Bay as a transfer student in the 2025-2026 academic year, these degree pathways are designed with you in mind.

These recommended course sequences help you build on your previous coursework — including Associate Degrees for Transfer (ADTs) — so you can focus on your major and make steady progress toward graduation.

An ADT is a California community college degree designed to provide a clear pathway to the CSU system. If you’ve earned or are completing an ADT, your pathway shows how your completed courses apply to your bachelor’s degree and helps you stay on track to graduate in a timely way.

Use your pathway to understand how your remaining requirements fit together and to plan your time at Cal State Monterey Bay with confidence.
