Our communities need outstanding teachers for elementary, middle, and high schools. Students interested in becoming K-12 teachers — but not sure how or where to begin — should attend the online event “Thinking of Teaching” from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, April 19. The free event is hosted by the CSUMB MAESTROs project for future teachers.

This introductory informational meeting will explain the steps toward becoming a teacher or substitute teacher, no matter your major or career pathway. The meeting will also highlight some of the skills individuals have and practice daily that can be used in the classroom to serve our future generations.
