Graduate School and Professional Degree Prep Conference

CSUMB students and alumni are invited to the “Graduate School and Professional Degree Prep Conference: Writing Your Application” from June 6 to 8 at the University Center, Building 29. This three-day conference is open to those planning to apply to graduate or professional degree programs in fall 2024 or spring 2025, to start in fall 2025 or spring 2026. Participation is free, but space is limited to 30 people.
Graduate school offers increased earning potential, networking opportunities, and leadership roles. For doctorate and master's programs, as well as professional degree programs, it's important to start preparing your application at least six months before the admissions deadline.
The conference will cover key areas to help you prepare to apply for graduate school from planning to writing your personal statement.

- Find out about funding available for graduate school
- Get feedback on your application during workshop time
Campus partners include: the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Center (UROC); Cooperative Learning Center (CLC); Center for Advising, Career, and Student Success; Office of Graduate Studies and Research; and MAESTROs (Making Accessible and Effective Systems for Teacher Readiness Outcomes).
