Outreach & Presentation Requests

PGCC team members enjoy collaborating with departments, faculty, and student organizations regarding mental health related events. Clinicians are also available to provide presentations and training; topics include but are not limited to:

PGCC Services

Offers students brief information about individual and group counseling, workshops, what to expect when scheduling an appointment, confidentiality, etc. (10-15 minutes)

Stress Less Workshop

Explores the costs and benefits of stress and provides tips to manage stress. (45-60 minutes)

Positive Thinking Workshop

Introduces the connection between thoughts, feelings and behaviors; provides tools to challenge negative thinking. (45-60 minutes)

QPR - Suicide Prevention and Intervention Training

Provides tools to recognize warning signs, ask someone about suicide, intervene in suicidal crises, and refer to help. (60 minutes)

PGCC requires requests to be made at least 3 weeks in advance. We will try our best to fulfill your request, but cannot always guarantee it. We also prefer a minimum of 10 audience members at each function. Please fill out our outreach request form and we will be in contact with you.
