The Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (AHSA) will be conducting an open forum for the SLP program pursuing candidacy at CSUMB.
The Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) conducts site visits for programs pursuing candidacy, initial, and reaccreditation. As a part of the candidacy process, the MS-SLP program at California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) is seeking public comment in preparation for the CAA site visit on April 27-28, 2020.
Individuals who wish to provide input can do so in two ways:
- Submit written comments prior to the accreditation site visit in accordance with the procedures specified in the public comment procedures.
- Provide comments to the site visit team during the program’s scheduled site visit – April 27th from 4-5pm at the CSUMB Alumni and Visitor Center.
All comments must:
- Relate to a program’s compliance with the current Standards for Accreditation.
- Identify the specific program seeking candidacy, initial accreditation, or continued accreditation with the CAA.
