Marian Penn Partnership Award
About the Award
The Marian Penn Partnership Award honors a partnership between service learning faculty and a community partner that has made service learning possible and powerful. Named after Marian Penn, the founding Director of the Service Learning Institute, the Penn Partnership Award recognizes a faculty/community partner team that has demonstrated exceptional commitment, communication and success in strengthening communities through service learning. The partnership must have engaged in service learning experiences that have demonstrated significant and sustainable community and academic impact.
The Service Learning Spotlight Award honors students from each undergraduate major whose service learning experiences have resulted in significant, lasting personal and community impact. One graduating senior from each undergraduate degree program will be honored with a Service Learning Award at the Honors Convocation and Spotlight on Service Event.
