Service Learning Institute

I am a Student Service Leader from right here in Monterey, CA. This is my first year with the Service Learning Institute, and I am so excited! I will be working with the Marina Recreation Center. I am currently a fourth-year student working on my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I spent my first year at Santa Clara University and my second year attending the Fire Academy where I was a reserve firefighter for Marina, CA. I then attended Monterey Peninsula College the following year, where I received my AA in Psychology. I transferred to CSUMB in the Fall of 2021 and have never looked back! I have made my way around different schools and gained so many wonderful experiences.

I am looking forward to what’s to come with the SL Institute! In terms of my hobbies, I love running, lifting weights, hiking, or absolutely anything about being active and outside! I also love to read, play with my dogs, and share space with my loved ones!
