Jissel is majoring in Humanities and Communications with a concentration in Ethnic and Gender studies and a minor in education. This will be her third year as a Service Learning Student Leader. Working at the SLI has allowed her to gain experience working with our local community, develop leadership skills, be introduced to different social topics/issues, and learn what it means to “serve” one’s community. Jissel loves to write and hopes to share untold stories through storytelling.
