Kathleen has been freelancing in natural science and children's illustration since 2000. Clients have included Organic Gardening magazine, the Herb Companion magazine, Defenders of Wildlife, the Mt. St. Helens Institute, Main Street Design, the Bureau of Land Management, McGraw Hill, Reader's Digest Young Families, Inc., Groliers Publishing, Educational Insights, Gardener's Companion, Cricket magazine, the Golden Gate National Park Conservancy, and the Seattle Art Museum Sculpture Park. She is currently an instructor in botanical drawing and painting at the University of Washington Center for Urban Horticulture and Gage Academy of Art in Seattle. Her botanical work has appeared in a number of juried shows around the country and in galleries in Washington State and Canada, and can be seen on the ASBA website (http://huntbot.andrew.cmu.edu/ASBA/) and at www.science-art.com, and at www.florawithfauna.com.
