Jillian Ditner is an illustrator and designer who combines her knowledge of science and passion for visual communication to create visuals that are both accurate and compelling. Jillian earned her Certificate in Science Illustration from California State University, Monterey Bay. Before this, she studied Fine Art at OCAD University before she went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Graphic Design at York University in Toronto. With an strong interest in environmental conservation, Jillian's design thesis employed a temporal outdoor installation to generate a dialogue between citizens and their natural surroundings as well as promote bird conservation awareness. Jillian's illustration work has been featured in books, editorials and campaigns throughout North America and she has designed interpretive signage and installation graphics for natural history subjects.
