Cal Coastal Small Business Development Center
To grow the regional economy through being the leading resource to develop, strengthen and expand businesses in the Monterey Bay Area.
We provide entrepreneurs and small businesses in Monterey and San Benito Counties with high-quality consulting, support for innovation, access to information, and tools necessary to build successful sustainable businesses.
The SBDC team members are innovative and dedicated professionals with high ethical standards who are fully dedicated to helping small businesses succeed. Our values are based upon a set of five (5) key principles that will help guide and drive objectives. These principles are as follows:

Services of the SBDC are partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration; Cal Coastal Rural Development Corporation and the University of California, Merced. SBDCs are supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration and extended to the public on a non-discriminatory basis.
