Lynne White Dixon, LCSW
At the Personal Growth and Counseling Center, Lynne supervises and trains LCSW and MFT interns and counsels students. She is a clinical social worker who has been practicing for 30 years. Lynne has lived in Monterey County since 1976, is married and the mother of two young men.
What Lynne enjoys the most about working at the PGCC is watching the students develop a secure sense of themselves as they move through the college and counseling experiences. When students come to the Counseling Center, they receive support and acceptance and soon realize that no concern is too small.
Lynne's has primarily worked with children, adolescents, adults and their families that face a variety of issues, including abuse, divorce, foster care and adoption.
In addition to her therapy practice, Lynne has been a trainer of communication strategies, team building and diversity in both human services organizations and educational institutions.
Lynne received both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Chicago.
