Screening of "No Más Bebés"|7PM | Student Center, East Lounge

Join The Otter Cross Cultural Center, Associated Students, M.E.Ch.A , and Sigma Omega Nu for the screening and post-dialogue of the award winning film "No Más Bebés" . No Más Bebés tells the story of a group of Mexican immigrant women who sued county doctors, the state, and the U.S. government after they were sterilized while giving birth at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Brown and Proud | 6PM | Student Center

A showcase that exhibits different artifacts that incorporate aspects of the Latinx/Hispanic/Chicanx heritage from the different regions of Latin America. This also will help us raise support and awareness to Latinx Literacy and enhance educational opportunities to the Latinxs in the community.

Día de los Muertos Event | 5:30 PM | Visual & Public Art (Bldg. 72)

Come celebrate Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with the faculty & students in VPA. Students clubs and community members are invited to participate in creating their own Altar's and honoring family and friends at this event.
