Academic Progress Reports
Navigation: Monterey Bay Custom CS > MB Student Records > Academic Progress Reports > APR Student Summary.
Please Note: The page will display a list of APR reports assigned to the student. The status of each report will be listed in the "Report Status" column.
Click on a report request row to view the details.
Once the report displays, the student can utilize the "Next in List" or "Previous in List" buttons to view additional Academic progress reports.
Information displayed on the Academic Progress Reports will vary based on the response to the "Students Overall Performance" question.
For students whose performance is "Above Average" or "Average", the report will display as follows:
For student whose performance cannot be evaluated, the report will display as follows:
For students whose performance are "Below Average" or "Failing", a FULL report will display as follows:
Please Note: To Navigate back to the main Academic Progress Report screen, click on the "Return to Search" button.
Academic Progress Reports
The Academic Progress Reports (APR) process has been re-designed in order to save you a significant amount of time. Changes include the following:
The submission process is now quick and simple for students that are performing well.
- Rating a student with Overall Performance of "Above Average" or "Average" will no longer require additional details such as attendance or a recommendation for tutoring.
- Comments and additional information is optional.
A new response option of "Cannot Evaluate" has been added.
- The Student Overall Performance question includes “Cannot Evaluate.”
- This option added for exceptions such as non-attendance.
- However, the form will require Instructor Comments to clarify reason.
** Please Note: You need to be logged into CMS before you can see the screens in the instructions.
From the main menu navigate to the following page:
Monterey Bay Custom CS > MB Student Records > Academic Progress Report > APR Instructor Summary
After clicking on APR Instructor Summary you will be presented with a list of the students assigned to you that require an Academic Progress Report.
Please Note: You can sort results by clicking on any of the column headers on the results grid.
To submit a progress report, select a record from the results grid. The submission page will appear.
Note: You will be able to edit Report Information once a Academic Progress Report has been submitted.
Your response to the Overall Performance questions will determine the level of feedback required on the page. Select from the available options.
For students whose overall performance are "above average" or "average", no additional feedback is required. You can immediately select the SAVE button to submit. Optional comments can be entered if desired.
For students whose performance cannot be evaluated, you must enter required comments before selecting the SAVE button to submit.
For students whose academic performance are "Below Average" or "Failing" you must fill out a full report. Once completed select the SAVE button to submit. See below for instructions on how to submit a full report.
To submit a full academic progress report, complete each of the following sections.
Summarize the students overall performance up to this point in the class.
Complete the academic questions based on the students performance.
Note the students attendance.
You can leave a comment for the Progress Report Requester to review. The comments are visible to the student. You can enter N/A if you do not wish to leave a comment.
When you have completed all the sections of the Academic Progress Report click Save.
Note: If you have multiple students to review you can use the Next in List and Previous in List to navigate between students.
