Financial Assistance for the MSPA Program

General information and forms for financial aid at CSUMB are available on the CSUMB Financial Aid page.

Applicants may apply for financial aid directly through CSUMB or outside funding sources.

Applicants should complete the FAFSA by the deadline regardless of acceptance to the program to be considered for the Federal Stafford Loan and Federal GradPlus Loan.

The state of California and the Health Resources and Services Administration offer a number of loan repayment programs for PAs through post-graduate employment in settings serving medically underserved patient populations.

Information regarding loan repayment through post-graduate employment can be found through the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development and the National Health Services Corps.

The MSPA program has no direct involvement in granting any financial aid. Please direct questions regarding financial aid to the Extended Education Financial Aid Counselor at ee_financialaid@csumb.edu. Be sure to specify that your questions are concerning the Master of Science Physician Assistant program.
