Bachelor's degree application steps

Ready to earn your degree at Cal State Monterey Bay? Earning your undergraduate degree typically takes four years for a first-time freshmen or two years for an upper division transfer student. 

Step 1: Review admission requirements

If you do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirement, you may be eligible for Conditional Admission

Step 2: Complete application form

Submit your application on Cal State Apply. View the application guideline for a step-by-step process. 

Step 3: Submit required documents

Email the required documents below to International Admissions

Current F-1 visa holders (already in the U.S.)

Please note: Official transcripts and proof of English proficiency can be submitted as unofficial documents for an initial admission decision. However, official documents must be submitted for final admissions acceptance.
