Resident Advisors are the members of Student Housing & Residential Life that work directly with residents to encourage involvement in campus life and to assist in emergencies. RAs are individuals who are committed to making onā€campus living a fun and rewarding experience.

Apply to be a 2022-23 Resident Advisor:

1) Read and review the RA Role Description

2) Apply for the RA role

  • Questions to consider when applying:
    • What is your current understanding of what an RA does?
    • Why do you want to be an RA?
    • What can you contribute to the RA role and where do you feel you may need to improve?
    • Please describe a community in which you have been part of. What were some of the characteristics of your community and what would you do to create a positive community as an RA?
    • What does diversity mean to you and how can you contribute to the diversity and feeling of inclusiveness on your floor?
  • 3 References needed

3) Email a cover letter and resume to
