Applying to CSUMB Housing

If you are a newly admitted student and are getting a error when accessing your MyHousing and you recently paid your $100 Enrollment Confirmation Fee it may take 48hrs for our system to update and make MyHousing available to you.

Students may apply for Main Campus and/or East Campus housing (review eligibility restrictions on the Housing Options Page). Main Campus Housing consists of Residence Halls, North Quad and Promontory housing areas. East Campus Housing consists of Frederick Park I and Frederick Park II Apartments. New students applying for on-campus housing must complete the following steps before accessing the on-campus Student Housing Application:

  • Be admitted to California State University, Monterey Bay
  • Confirm your intent to attend CSUMB by logging in to your MyCSUMB account and paying the $100 University Enrollment Confirmation Fee
  • Next, you will need to follow one of these buttons to submit your application and pay your $100 Reservation Deposit:

Priority Deadlines are only for the Fall Semester.

The Priority Deadline to apply for housing is May 7, 2018. Housing assignments are completed on a first come first served basis. Students who apply early have a greater chance to be placed matching their preferences submitted on the application.

You will still be able to apply after the Priority Deadline however, priority for housing assignments will go to those who apply by the priority housing deadline. All housing assignments are made based on space availability.

Applications are complete when

Main Campus Housing Applications are considered complete once the online application has been submitted and a $100.00 Reservation Deposit payment has posted to your Student Account. Students will not be assigned a room assignment if you do not have both an online application and $100.00 Reservation Deposit on file.

East Campus Housing Applications are considered complete once the online application has been submitted and a $100.00 Reservation Deposit has been paid via OASIS. Students will not be assigned if they do not have both an online application and $100.00 Reservation Deposit on file.
