Summer Session Registration begins April 6, 2020

CSUMB expect all classes to continue in the alternate modality, remote learning, and teaching, as is currently used for Spring 2020.

Spring Break

Students who chose to remain on Main Campus and East Campus must comply with the Stay-at-Home order. If a student decides to travel for spring break and violates the Stay-at-Home order, the students will not be permitted to return to a Main Campus or East Campus residence. This is to reduce the risk of virus transmission to the campus community. CSUMB asks that everyone help us keep our community safe by following the lawful Stay-at-Home order.

Housing consolidation

Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable living space for students that need to remain on campus. To facilitate that goal, Student Housing & Residential Life will begin our consolidation efforts during spring break. This will impact most students that are living on Main Campus.

Moving out

If your needs have changed and you no longer plan to remain living on campus for Spring 2020, please complete the Emergency Express Checkout Procedure. The deadline to move out of Main Campus housing and be eligible for a prorated refund was March 23 at noon. If your plans have changed, we will extend this deadline for consideration of a refund to March 30. At that time, any students who remain living on campus or with belongings on campus will be charged full Spring 2020 housing and dining balances, as appropriate. If you have not already, please complete this student status questionnaire to inform us of your intentions.
