  • Your application will be evaluated using the same system of need analysis for all students. This will determine your Expected Family Contribution and what type of aid you are available for (grants and loans).
  • How do you receive your financial aid refund.
  • How to repay your student loan funds.
  • Eligibility
  • There are lifetime limits on various aid sources.
  • The information pertaining to your financial aid is kept confidential.
  • Notify the Financial Aid Office if you drop below full-time enrollment during any semester. Full-time enrollment is 12 units for undergraduates/teaching credential and 8 units for graduates.
  • Read and understand all documents you are asked to sign and keep copies for your records.
  • Comply with all financial aid application deadlines.
  • Register with Selective Service once the age of 18.
  • Before graduating or leaving CSUMB, attend an in person Exit Counseling Workshop.
