About Dokkyo University

Dokkyo University offers a special Japanese language program designed to help students understand Japanese society and culture, and attain comprehensive Japanese language skills.

These skills include the ability to read and to write at a high enough proficiency to give presentations in Japanese and to function effectively in an internship or an equivalent environment.

In this Japanese language program, students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds study in groups that are appropriate to their level of proficiency, from beginner to very advanced levels. Depending on their proficiency in Japanese, exchange students are eligible to take regular courses.
