Katherine Green is a working artist, game designer and teacher. Hailing from the humid swamps of Florida, she received her BFA in Art & Technology from The University of Florida. She relocated to the foggy beaches of the bay area to pursue her master's in Digital Art and Technology from The University of California, Santa Cruz.

Katherine's work has a conceptual focus on exploring the expressive potential of video games and other mixed media forms of communication. Through experimental narrative, parody, and visual design, monstrous forms born of a postmodern, always-online reality roam the virtual landscapes of Katherine's games and paintings. They ask questions about identity, control and the consequences of systems, both natural and structured by cultures, on individuals (both human and otherwise) living within said systems.

Katherine teaches classes in the Games CD concentration, such as: Game Design I - Game Design II - Drawing for Digital Media - Environment Design - Character Design - Level Design - Character Animation - Digital Photography (Summer only)
