Daniel B. Summerhill is the author of Divine, Divine, Divine, a semi-finalist for the Charles B. Wheeler and Saturnalia Poetry Prizes. He holds an MFA from Solstice of Pine Manor College (Boston, MA). Daniel has toured nationally in over 32 states, Europe, and was sponsored by the U.S Embassy to guest lecture and perform in South Africa.

His research interest include: Creative Writing; Social Action; Poetry; Poetry and Performance; Poetry and Media; Critical Reading and Writing; Ethnolinguistics; Cultivating Authentic Voice in Black Writers. Classes taught: HCOM 120, HCOM 330, HCOM 332.
