Winter @ CSUMB
This winter, take classes to get ahead, stay on track, or pursue a new interest. Classes are available online or on-campus and take just 3-5 weeks to complete. Whether you are completing GE or major requirements, you can enjoy smaller classes and a more intimate academic experience. Raise your GPA and graduate sooner, saving you time and money.

Alumni Association Capstone Scholarship
The CSUMB Alumni Association Capstone Grant was created to financially assist the capstone projects of graduating seniors. Capstone grants are made possible by generous donations from the CSU Monterey Bay Alumni and the Alumni Association. Students graduating in Fall 2017 (undergraduate & graduate) can apply for up to $500.
Awarded funding cannot be used on electronic equipment, software, clothing, capital equipment (such as computers, desks, etc.), food, test fees (such as NASM, CPA, etc) illegal substances or alcohol. Application (google form) and itemized budget (receipts must be provided after project approval).
Deadline to apply is December 1, by 3PM.
CLC Writing Support
Big writing assignment due at the end of the semester? In the middle of your GWAR paper? Don’t wait until the last minute to get feedback on your writing!
Drop-in Writing Tutoring in the Cooperative Learning Center:
Mondays, 12:00 - 1:50 p.m.
Fridays, 10:00 a.m. - 1:50 p.m.
Sundays, 3:00 - 7:50 p.m.
Ask tutors for help with:
- citing your sources
- revising your writing for clarity
- formatting your work according to APA / MLA / CMS / other styles
- paraphrasing and summarizing source material
No appointment is necessary during these times. Come with a question for a tutor and stay to get some work done. Bring your sources, reading notes, assignment prompts, and any other materials you need to work on your writing.
No tutoring during fall break (11/19/17-11/26/17). Tutoring will resume Monday 11/27/17.
