College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences

Communicating compassionately, engaging globally

The College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences creates an inclusive, accessible environment that empowers students to critically examine their place in the world, find their people, and to collaboratively imagine, co-create and transform the world around them.

Our faculty provide individualized mentorship opportunities to students who are engaged global citizens that study humanity through the lens of art, music, film, communications, language and psychology. Our graduates apply interdisciplinary knowledge, values and skills, equipping them to provide creative, compassionate and socially responsible solutions for the future.

Connecting communities and culture

Home to the RND Amphitheater, the CAHSS Art Gallery, and the World Theater, CAHSS provides vital campus and community spaces for public events, bringing a wide array of music, theater, arts and culture to our doorstep. Our students have opportunities to dance, sing and stride across our stages before they ever reach that final stage of their educational journey.
