I am having trouble connecting to iLearn, what else can I check?

Firefox is the recommended browser to use with iLearn..  Safari does not work well. Internet Explorer has some difficulties. Use the Browser Test link in iLearn on the left side of the screen when you go to log in. Fix any problems indicated by red X's.

Make sure no firewalls are running
Make sure you are not working with any Firewall or Privacy control software like Symantec Internet Security or Zone Alarm.

If you are using AOL
iLearn does not support AOL's browser.  However, if you try the following solutions, you should be able to log into iLearn by using AOL's Internet connection:

Approach 1

      
  • Connect to the Internet using AOL
  •   
  • "Minimize" the AOL interface
  •   
  • Launch Firefox to access iLearn
Approach 2 - Opening another browser while using AOL as your default browser:

            
                     
  • Sign on through AOL (access the internet)
  •                  
  • Locate the "keyword" button to the immediate top right, click     on it
  •                  
  • Type in "smile4u" in the search field, click on "GO"(submit)   
  •                  
  • A yellow smiley face should appear; minimize your AOL browser
  •                  
  • Open Firefox.
