Emerging Technology Conference

General Conference Registration


California State University at Monterey Bay (CSUMB), in cooperation with Tandberg Educational, will host a conference, Join Education's Digital Stream: Emerging Technologies in Teaching Languages and Cultures on March 25 & 26, 1999 at the Institute for World Languages & Cultures site on the CSUMB campus. 

This conference will include demonstrations of the effective use of technology in foreign language classrooms, and panel discussions on topics such as assessment, distance learning, and language lab design. Noted scholars in the fields of language acquisition, cultural studies, and technology application, including Leo van Lier of the Monterey Institute of International Studies and Mary Ann Lyman-Hager of San Diego State University, will be among the presenters. 

Fees: Preregistration Fee . . . . . . . .$99 ( Includes two lunches and one dinner.)
On-Site Registration Fee . . . $150 ( Includes two lunches and one dinner.)
